A UKIP MEP AT LARGE Personal statement First Chairman of the Norwich & Norfolk branch and top scoring UKIP councillor candidate last year in the Eastern Region. I was the prime mover in Norfolk's 2007 campaign effort. I have composed a lecture on the EU which I have delivered to schools, UKIP branches and other institutions. My NFU status brings me frequent television and radio exposure and I am successful in getting my anti EU letters published in the EDP. At election time local political editors seem to be on the phone constantly. This may be why the Conservatives chose not to stand a District Councillor candidate against me last year. Being blessed with a powerful voice I can ensure that UKIP's agenda is heard from the floor at public meetings when the top table will not acknowledge the EU's involvement in an issue.
